animations

Animation is the rapid display of a sequence of images of 2-D or 3-D artwork or model positions in order to create an illusion of movement. It is an optical illusion of motion due to the phenomenon of persistence of vision, and can be created and demonstrated in a number of ways.

anchor

An anchor is an object, often made out of metal, that is used to attach a ship to the bottom of a body of water at a specific point. There are two primary classes of anchors—temporary and permanent.

In typesetting and page layout, alignment or range, is the setting of text flow or image placement relative to a page, column, table cell or tab. The type alignment setting is sometimes referred to as text alignment, text justification or type justification
ActiveX controls are small programs that add dynamic and interactive features to Web pages. These software components incorporate ActiveX technology and they can be used to add pop-up menus, multimedia effects and animation to web pages, desktop applications and tools that develop software.
A spreadsheet or table can be divided into cells, which are the points where the rows and columns intersect . An active cell is the cell that is currently highlighted (chosen) and ready to receive or manipulate data.

absolute cell reference

A cell reference in a formula that does not change when the formula is copied elsewhere. It absolutely always stays the same. Usually has $ sign in front of the row and column references.

3-D pie chart

A circular graph having radii dividing the circle into sectors proportional in angle and area to the relative size of the quantities represented.

1. we learned that ctrl tab makes it quicker to switch between open applications.
